Dr Kim McKee is Co-Investigator at the UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence (CaCHE) and Senior Lecturer in the School of Geography & Sustainable Development at the University of St Andrews. Kim has an inter-disciplinary background with a PhD and MRes in Urban Studies from the University of Glasgow. Her research interests revolve around four key themes:
- Housing and urban governance
- Housing inequalities (social, spatial and generational)
- Low-income housing
- Housing and young people
Kim is currently Managing Editor of Housing Studies, an editorial board member of the journal Housing, Theory and Society, and past Chair of the Housing Studies Association.
In her role at CaCHE, Kim is working within the ‘choice’, and will be leading an exemplar project on ‘Generation Rent’.
