
Co-Investigator
Dr Gareth James is a Research and Knowledge Exchange Fellow for the UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence (CaCHE) and is based at the University of Glasgow.
He is primarily responsible for co-ordinating the Centre’s knowledge exchange and engagement activities in Scotland.
Prior to joining CaCHE, Gareth taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in politics and research methods at the University of Edinburgh and Newcastle University.
Gareth is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and member of the Scottish Parliament Cross Party Group on Housing.
His research interests include housing and public policy; land assembly for housing and sustainable development; housing and neighbourhood design; knowledge exchange and impact; innovative research methods and methodologies.
