Adriana as a Research Fellow at the UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence and is based in Glasgow.
In her role with CaCHE Adriana will develop and implement new evidence reviews developed in conjunction with research partners across the housing sector, and contribute to the formulation and submission of deliverables.
Prior to joining CaCHE, Adriana worked at Tilburg University in the Netherlands, the University of St Andrews, and very briefly at the University of Dundee. She is a chartered Romanian architect and planner with a prolific portfolio of residential and commercial projects undertaken over two decades. She was awarded prestigious fellowships by the World Bank, Dutch Government and King’s College London (ORS).
Research interests include housing and the material home as a key site for understanding the dynamic and multidimensional processes through which inequalities are generated via structural determinants, social discourses, everyday practices and cultural mechanisms.
