Biography

Claire Martin is the Communications and Engagement Officer for the UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence (CaCHE).

Based at the University of Glasgow, Claire manages all external and internal communications and engagement activities for the centre. Claire works closely with colleagues and strategic partners across the UK to promote CaCHE research and enable academics to inform housing policy and practice at a local, devolved and national level.

Before joining the CaCHE, Claire worked for the Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability at the University of Edinburgh, where she was responsible for the delivery of the annual events programme and student engagement activities. Prior to this Claire was based in London, where she worked as Events Manager for the UK Green Building Council (UK-GBC), a sustainability NGO, and the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR), a leading progressive think-tank, where she produced events and conferences on a wide range of policy areas.

Claire holds a degree in Modern History from the University of St Andrews.
