Dr Jennifer Harris is a Senior Research Associate for the UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence (CaCHE) and is based within the School for Policy Studies, University of Bristol.
Prior to joining the CaCHE, Jennifer was employed as the Research Manager at the national voluntary sector organisation, Homeless Link.
Jennifer holds a PhD from the University of Bristol (Socio-Legal Studies) in which she explored homeless people’s engagements with technology within the context of the shift to digital advice and welfare benefit services.
Jennifer’s research explores a range of issues relating to the private rented sector, with the broad objective of improving conditions and outcomes in the sector. The private rented sector research programme is funded by the charitable arm of The Dispute Service/Safe Deposits (Scotland) and is based within the Governance theme.
