Biography

 

Professor Stanley McGreal is Co-Investigator at the UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence (CaCHE), and Professor of Property Research and Director of the Centre for Research on Property and Planning at Ulster University. He has researched widely into issues relating to housing, urban development and regeneration, planning, globalisation, property market performance, and investment. Professor McGreal has been involved in major research contracts funded by government departments and agencies, research councils, charities and the private sector.

Stanley holds membership of several editorial boards, he is the editor of the Journal of European Real Estate Research, a past-president of the International Real Estate Society, a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and holds an Adjunct Professorship at the University of South Australia.

Stanley’s primary role within CaCHE is as Knowledge Exchange Lead for the KE Hub based in Northern Ireland. In this capacity, he will work with Joe Frey (Knowledge Broker) in building networks that span the academic, policy and practice communities in Northern Ireland.
