This session will provide an overview and introduction to the world of impact within academia. The session will talk through what we mean by impact, why it is important and becoming a key part of academics’ careers, the value in thinking about impact early and what you can be doing now to help increase your research’s impact going forward. It will be a chance to ask questions and help breakdown the barriers and myths around research impact.
