COVID-19: Housing market impacts and housing policy responses – an international review
This report is the third in a series of reports written and produced for the ACOSS/UNSW Sydney Poverty and Inequality Partnership which look at the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on housing and homelessness policy.
This paper looks at the effects of these policy changes in Australia and other high-income countries including Canada, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Spain and the US. Studying this range of countries gives the opportunity to compare similar jurisdictions with a variety of housing regimes and national governance systems.
