Road to home: University of Glasgow homelessness initiative scoping study
Homelessness is a complex social issue that, despite Scotland’s progressive housing and homelessness legislation, remains a salient issue. The University of Glasgow, aiming to make a meaningful contribution to efforts to eradicate homelessness within the city, established its Road to Home initiative in 2021.
Our new scoping report provides information and context about homelessness as a social phenomenon and examine homelessness in Glasgow. Key stakeholders and individuals with lived experience were engaged to outline barriers to eradicating homelessness in the city and identify opportunities for the University to engage its resources to positively contribute to efforts in the field.
